These Earwax Q-Tip Halloween Craft Is Absolutely Ear-Resistable

When it comes to Halloween food crafts, the grosser, the better. Eat an eyeball made from boiled eggs and an olive? Why not? Foods that double as body parts (like sausage intestines) are always a crowd pleaser, but the Earwax Q-Tips food craft is as creepy as they come.

Maybe it’s the fact that the Earwax Q-Tips are crafted from actual Q-Tips — or that they have a big blob of “wax” on the tip — that makes this Halloween craft for kids hyper realistic. And they require little prep and come together quickly, which any witch would love.

Now, you can go one of two ways with this craft. You can make them almost completely edible — simply cut the cotton ends off the stick and replace it with a mini marshmallow. Then, dip the marshmallow in melted caramel, ensuring an extra swirl for your kiddo who refuses to clean their ears.

But if you want a non-edible craft to adorn your terrifying table, use the entire Q-Tip and dunk the Q-Tip in the caramel. (Just be sure to tell your ghoulish guests what parts of the craft are edible!) Either way, once you’ve dipped the Q-Tips and are satisfied with the wad of wax at the end of stick, place them on wax paper to harden. Be sure to add an empty Q-Tip box as a backdrop to complete the sinister scene.

That way, everyone will get the joke — loud and clear!
