It’s not every day that I jump into bed with a cover celeb—but that’s exactly what happened with Pajama Party.
For a little context: Pajama Party is one of the top Freestyle groups—a high-energy, electronic genre that dominated the airwaves in the late ’80s and early ’90s. While Freestyle found fans around the world, it especially took hold in cities like New York, Miami, and Philadelphia—where many iconic acts, including Pajama Party, got their start.
Group members Marialisa Marino, Janine Acquafredda, and Rachel Castro are still going strong after all these years—and with good reason. Their hits “Yo No Sé” and “Over and Over” are timeless tracks that still get fans dancing, singing, and reminiscing.
So, how did I end up in bed with Marialisa, Janine, and Rachel? Well, I always take a photo with the Celebrity Parents Magazine cover stars after the shoot wraps. But let’s be honest—it can get a little stale just standing side by side, smiling politely, photo after photo (over and over…get it?). So this time, I brought along a pair of pajamas—just in case. The ladies loved the idea, and suddenly Pajama Party had a fourth member…and a backup dancer, too.
It’s not something I usually do, but it was so much fun—and that’s what Celebrity Parents is all about for me. It’s about celebrating the moment, sharing stories, and creating something memorable. In this case, it meant fluffing a few pillows and capturing a shot that was both silly and symbolic. Because, yo no sé, sometimes you just have to jump in with both feet—and maybe a pair of PJs.
