All it takes is for the temperature to dip ever so slightly for people to start putting on plaid shirts and head to their local pumpkin patch. But after you’ve snapped those shots of your kids sitting on those gorgeous gourds, the pumpkin patch experience is over for another year— or is it? If you want to relieve that festive fall feeling, you can recreate those memories in a yummy way by making your very own Brownie Pumpkin Patch.
Making the Brownie Pumpkin Patch is so much easier than you might think, and chances are, you probably already have the ingredients in your pantry. Simply bake up a batch of brownies (just don’t cut them into squares, though). Using green decorating icing or writing gel, create wiggly lines across the brownies to replicate pumpkin vines. Then, take a handful of Mellowcreme Pumpkins and place them at different spots on top of the vines, and voila, you’ve got a delicious dessert that pays homage to the most famous fall fruit — the pumpkin.
