Butter is the star ingredient for the cake (and frosting) recipe from Kimara Ahnert. The sought-after makeup maven loves this recipe which is simple — and simply delicious. Both the frosting and cake have only a few ingredients which makes baking this cake a breeze. That might explain why the recipe is a family fave. “This recipe has been passed down in my family for years,” says Ahnert. If you’re looking to upgrade from boxed cake mixes and want to get your kiddo into the kitchen, this is a great recipe to add to your baking repertoire.
