This “Old Soup” Recipe From The Monkees’ Davy Jones Will Make You A Believer

Nothing beats a steaming bowl of soup on a frigid fall day. And Davy Jones, legendary singer from The Monkees, has the simplest (and funniest!) recipe we’ve seen in a long time. It’s simply called — “Old Soup.” Says wife Jessica Pacheco-Jones: “I love when David makes ‘Old Soup’ because I don’t have to clean out the fridge!”

Ingredients:

Any and all veggies that you have in the fridge that are still edible! Make sure the vegetables are chopped fine.

Directions:

Heat a large pot with water. Season with salt, pepper and one vegetable bouillon cube. Cut it up, boil it up, and you’ve got “Old Soup.”
