Danielle Milian Is Turning It Up…On TV And In Real Life

Danielle Milian is turning it up…on TV and in real life. As one of the stars of Christina Milian Turned Up, Danielle is often the voice of reason for sisters Christina and Lizzy. We spoke to Danielle about the hit reality TV show, her cravings (which include everything!), and how for her, there’s no place like home.

(Editor’s Note: This interview was conducted during Danielle’s pregnancy. We are truly saddened and send our deepest condolences to Danielle for the loss of her baby, Richie.)

What was it like filming the first season of Christina Milian Turned Up?

It was overwhelming to say the least! I  just had my 2nd baby and was new to marriage. Talk about being an emotional wreck!

What have you learned from being on a reality TV show?

Not everyone is going to love you or understand you, deal with it!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! How has this third pregnancy been so far? When are you due?

I’m due in September. This is the third time around, I don’t even wait for my Dr. To ask questions. I know what they want to hear already.

How has it been different from the other pregnancies? Any odd food cravings?

This pregnancy I have been totally out of control with the junk food. I’m not craving anything in particular, it’s more like EVERYTHING!

What do you want people to know about you that they wouldn’t necessarily know?

I’m a total homebody and reality TV junkie.

What are some of your plans for the future?

We have Season 2 of CMTU. Balancing career and 3 children is going to be a challenge I’m looking forward to.

How are you preparing for baby #3?

Well, thanks to baby #2 we still practice sleepless nights! That should make having a newborn easy!

Have you continued working as a hair stylist and MUA during this pregnancy?

I’m still doing hair! I have however had to force myself to slow down tremendously just to be safe.

How do you balance work with family?

I try to work more often while my oldest is in school, and cross my fingers that daddy isn’t going crazy with our 11-month old. She is quite demanding. Balancing work and family is definitely a team effort.
