This Brisket Recipe From Les Gold Is Just Like Bubbe Used To Make

Sure, you might be used to serving up sirloin or breaking out those burgers on a night when you need to get dinner done right away. But if you haven’t tried brisket, well, you’re missing out on a marvelous (and meaty) meal. And Les Gold, a pawnbroker and star of the hit show Hardcore Pawn, has a recipe for brisket that beats all the rest. It’s perfect for Passover, or other Jewish holidays like Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah,

“I love this brisket,” says Les. “It reminds me of the one my mom used to make for our Passover Seder growing up. Any chance I get – I ask for it!” The recipe, with just four ingredients, is super simple to prepare. You’ll need a slow cooker or a deep dish roasting pan and a few hours to get this tougher cut of beef to tenderize. Serve with root veggies like potatoes and carrots for a meal that is simply delicious and feeds a large crowd.

Ready to set your Seder up for success? Here’s the recipe for Les’ Favorite Brisket. Be prepared to for some seriously insane leftover sammies the next day.
