Julie Moran’s Recipe for Tuscan Lemon Chicken Is All Italian

Julie Moran has traveled the world on assignment, but by far one of her favorite places in the world is Italy. “My husband Rob and I have not taken the girls yet, but we have introduced them to Tuscan Lemon Chicken,” says Julie. “They beg me to cook it and we can’t wait to take Maiya and Makayla there next year to try it in person!!!”



4 to 6 chicken breast with bones and skin
1/2 cup of good olive oil
2 tsp grated lemon zest
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 lemon, sliced
4 cloves of garlic, minced


Combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Place chicken in ceramic or glass baking dish and cover with combined ingredients. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, turning once or twice. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Garnish the chicken with lemon slices and bake for 1 hour or until done.
