These Gone Fishing Brownies Are Truly A Catch

Brownies are pretty decadent all on their own, but add frosting and Swedish fish and you’ve taken your dessert to a whole new level. But if you’re pondering how you’ll put all the ingredients together, look no further than fishing brownies. This easy-to-make dessert has all the elements you could want, from gooey chocolate brownies to sugary frosting, as well as salty pretzels and candy. You definitely won’t have to fish for compliments about how cute this food craft is.

It’s really up to you how easy or complicated you want to make this food craft. Sure, you could make brownies from scratch, but really, a boxed mix would work just as well. And while fresh buttercream would also be brilliant, the canned kind slathered on top of warm brownies is decadently delicious. The best part is that fishing brownies really take no time at all to make. You’ll need a round cookie cutter to cut out the shapes of the brownies, and depending on the Fruit Roll-Ups you find, you might need to trim them down to make them thin enough to serve as the fake fishing line.

Ready to serve up these sweet treats? They’re going to o-fish-ially be your child’s favorite dessert.
