This Easy Mickey Mouse Pizza Recipe Is More Delish Than A Hot Dog!

Even if you have that one kid who will eat anything, you surely have another who can pretty much live on a steady supply of snacks — and nothing else. So when it comes to dinnertime, the struggle is definitely real. That’s why you might find yourself ordering a pizza more often than not. But if you have a mini Mickey Mouse fan in your house, you might want to try something other than takeout. This easy Mickey Mouse pizza recipe comes together quickly, has ingredients you most likely have in your pantry, and will please any Disney fan.

No matter what side of the counter you sit on when it comes to including kiddos in the kitchen, you might just change your mind when you make this Mickey Mouse pizza. While you can definitely do a tricked-out DIY version where you make your own dough, sauce, etc., you really don’t need to. Depending on how homemade you want the pizza to be, you can buy some dough from your supermarket or local pizzeria — or grab a couple of frozen pizzas and call it a day. A copious amount of cheese and a mix of strategically placed regular size and mini pepperoni is all it takes to transform a plain ‘ol pizza into something that even Walt Disney would approve of.

Mickey Mouse pizza

The directions below are for a Mickey Mouse pizza that uses fresh pizza dough. If you’re planning to use a frozen version, skip to Step 5 in the recipe.

Mickey Mouse Pizza

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ball fresh pizza dough
  • 1 jar (15 oz.) marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh or dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. fine or kosher salt
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 package regular sized pepperoni
  • 1 package mini sized pepperoni

Instructions
 

  • Generously flour prep surface. Roll out pizza dough to desired thickness. 
  • Mix condiments into sauce and set aside. 
  • Spread sauce over dough, leaving 1 inch around uncovered. 
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese onto pizza. 
  • Take regular-sized pepperoni and place them in rows spaced 2 inches apart horizontally and vertically on pizza dough. 
  • Take 2 mini-sized pepperoni and place them on both sides on top of the regular-sized pepperoni slice. Repeat until the pizza is covered.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until done. 
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. 
  • Cut in between pepperoni so that each pizza slice has an intact Mickey Mouse head. 
  • Serve and enjoy.
